Recommendations on a decent AR 15 barrel

You’ve got cheap rifle, I’d be putting in a cheap barrel. Follow Meroh’s lead and buy a Norc barrel from Canada Ammo.
$99 for 20” 1/12 or $119 for 14.5” 1/7. Both are cold hammer forged and chrome lined. More than a few reports of great accuracy. One fellow was getting better groups than his SP1. That barrel was 1/9 twist but it’s only available on complete rifles.
I think I’ll grab one of the 20” and chop it to 18.6”. Should work well with cheap 55grn ammo.
