Recommended 9mm semi-auto?

I have small hands a found the Beretta quite comfortable to handle, though I did not shoot it.

Ya... that IS part of my problem thought, small hands!

My hands aren't that big either; I use a SMALL grip insert on my M&P but have no problem with a Berettas grip ;)

just don't buy any wooden grips for it, and you should be OK (those are generally quite fat)...

about the Hi-Power I handles one with those Parchimer (sp?) plastic wrap around grips and it felt bigger than 92FS for sure. The one I shot (with regular grips) was a litle slimmer but still nowhere near as slim as M&P!

9 mm

Hello,,,, have you looked at the S&W M&P 9mm?? Nice pistol!!!! CZ75 is also a very nice pistol. You would be well served with either of these guns,

bore axis on the Sig P226 was to high, same for H&K USP.....my pick was a G17.....the best ergo grip for me was the CZ 75B.

9mm in a 1911 is alot of fun to shoot, very controlable. I fired XD40's, 9mm would be a nice in that as well. Favorite 9mm I have is my single stack P220.

CZ75b in Tutone, Velvet is optional!

The 9 mil ,40cal,.45acp,and 10 mil all penetrate ballistic jell about the same, the 10 mil has about 1 and 1/2 more energy than the .45acp,but they all penetrate about the same!

If you are depending on a 9mil to open up and become bigger if it gets a hit on a heavy leather jacket it will get clogged with leather and become a solid again!

Not a problem unless penetration is needed with a bigger round ,then your round is just 35 cal! with air brakes on.

With the .45acp it's .452 to start with it don't have to expand to hurt you!

Hollow points are para-chutes they open up to slow down the desent.

Big and slow is the way to go!

Bob:)
