Recommended accurate 9mm excluding CZ for Newbie

If you haven't shot a 1911 in 9mm, you really should - as far as accuracy goes, it's a 1911 - there are a million parts. All steel, no real recoil, and mags and virtually everything else are widely available, cheap.

Agreed. I love my 9mm Spartan. It's a keeper.

Cant Wait for the Sig and CZ to arrive, I am also looking at a STI Spartan in 45, I bought a norinco 45 just for fun and was very impressed with the 1911 platform.

Watch out for the 1911 disease it will cause severe distress to your bank account. I still find the 1911 one of the best guns to shoot. They just fit me as though it was custom built for me. Pointability, balance, accuracy, comfort. Just something RIGHT about a 1911. More fussy than most of the modern guns but oh so nice to shoot.
