Recommended AR sights?

It's a 10.5...chances are he does not intend it for use at magnification distances (not that it can't be done, of course).

The NCStar #### is garbage and I would not spend a dime on it.

Obvious choices are:

1) Daniel Defense fixed

2) Troy folding sights

3) Aimpoint or Eotech or, maybe, Trijicon for an optic...everything else is pretty expensive.

Or, of course, whatever your ERT unit is issued. No point building a ton of experience on a gun too dissimilar from whatever they issue you. I assume that is something similar to the average concierge: Colt 6933 with an Aimpoint T1 + surefire Vampire + PEQ5. I believe that is what the concierge at my building carries, anyway.

Bottom line...for most concierge duties you will be calling in an air strike so focus more on the radio than the gun.

I've got the Magpul MBUS rear, and just the standard A2 front sight. Works fairly well, and I like that classic look of the front sight. However I'm starting to think getting the matching MBUS front may line my sights up faster..... or I just need more range time... other than that, a good set of optics, if you're doing CQB, then a red-dot, holosight, reflex thing.... if you're pushing past that, then a magnifier, acog, or a scope would be good to have. I'm personally saving up (well trying to... too many toys get in the way)... for an eotech and magnifier.... I like the look of them, not knocking other sights... just a personal preference on aesthetics...

My first choice would be the TA31, then a Eotech with a flip up 3x magnifier but currently I am using troy dioptic sights with a vortex sparc co-witness and its great optic for the money.
