Recommened Stapler for targets at range

I use a Makita air stapler, I run a 60gal 12hp Ingersol Rand compressor mounted in the truck with a few 100 foot air hoses. Oh and nothing but 1" stainless roofing staples, normally about 24 of the per target to ensure the wind doesn't take them.

It's a stapler, how did this post get to 3 pages?

So which one is best for bear defence though?

And realistically if I can't shoot it into space I'm not interested.

Seriously though, a stapler thread? f:P:

You don't just buy a stapler all willy-nilly like, it's an important piece of equipment.
When I bought my first stapler, I made a list. My list included pros and cons of various models. The pros included durability, weight, cost, and most important is the superior use of mechanical advantage. I like a strong stapler.
The cons included lack of color choice, low magazine count, and inferior mechanical advantage. In the past, a weak stapler was the direct cause of great personal turmoil. I won't bore you with the details.

Happy stapler shopping to all.

I steal this from my wife, work great and made in USA. I start to bring mine to the range since the range stop provide the stapler once a few has been stole.

I don't know why but this post made me LMAO.

Not sure if it's imagining him saying this, or the macro, fancy stapler pic. lol

No offense mean, your english is far better than my french could ever be.

The targets you're putting up are ONLY paper. I found that a cheap and easy to use Arrow T-20 model that uses the lighter guage staples is easy to use and the staples are cheaper than the T-50 ones.

Arrow T50 from Home Depot comes in a handy storage case with room for a spare box of staples. Fits nicely in the range bag. Best thread ever.

I use the CT plastic one that looks like a small powershot with JT21 staples. One shot one kill, paper don't stand a chance. Light, small, easy to staple one hand.

Only concern is durability, doesn't look like it would survive a drop.
