It took a few years and a lot of dollars, but I received one of my two pre-ordered M38 from Westrifle... She's a beauty!!!! Great wood, almost new bore and all matching numbers! Westrifle is working on correcting my second, but I'm sure she'll be a hottie too!

Very nice, but that is a pretty price for them.

If there are no more, whats it worth then? I remember Lee Enfields for 12 and 15 bucks and those days are long gone. All surplus has a cycle and this may be the end of the M38/44 cycle.

Mine was a preorder, and all matching. The ones now all match except mag plate. They are forced match, but stamped, not EP...
