I just want to give a shout-out to Red Deer Shooting Center's CeraKote service, performed by Nick Labrash (certified Armourer and CeraKote Applicator). Nick did a stellar job of work on my STI 5" Tactical Single Stack M1911A1, which had a beat-up Duracote finish on it. I asked for a Matte Black slide and controls, mated to a SIG Dark Grey Frame. Nick's prep work was first-rate, as was his applicationnof the coating. There are zero detectable flaws beneath the recoated finish and it is of equal thickness with very even coverage throughout. Turn-around was one week and the rate was very reasonable for the quality of the work received. I would not hesitate to use RDSC for my future CeraKoting needs!
