Red dot 🔴 options

What red dot optic would you put on this rifle and why? Use will be hunting grouse, rabbits and informal plinking to 50 yards.

Well with Volquartsen’s reputation for accuracy and high cost I might not do a red dot at all! Might be fun to put an expensive LPVO with illumination on it. Vortex razor? Primary Arms plx 1-8 or a leupold mark 5 hd of some kind

But red dot aimpoint is great, but any will do as long as it has a 2 moa dot. Larger is great for speed, not accuracy

LPVO is a consideration as well.

No need for co witness as there are no sights on the rifle.

I plan to try a Primary Arms PLX, hoping the ACSS reticle will be a good fit for it to reach out to reasonable distances.

Currently using a Holosun 510 and you are bang on about dot size. The trick is trying to find something that is big / bright enough to use fast up close and small / fine enough for anything at distance. The 510 is kinda small but very bright so it works for me.
 
I have one of the Olight red dots. The cover has a built in battery and recharges the unit when closed. Was a great buy on sale with all the mounting plates, and bonus olight points. Can take the alum cover off and charge it on the bench when not in use. Think they have the green light as well.
 
Don’t have the rifle ( yet) but seriously considering it and was envisioning what red dot but the LPVO with illumination is very intriguing. The Amplus 6 LPVO by leica is also peaking my interest. Hmmm.
 
Primary Arms 1x micro prism. That way even if the battery takes a dump, you still have a usable reticle and a BDC for longer shots if ever needed and a finer aiming point. Out of the box it has all the mounting options hardware you need.

I was going to suggest this optic - but mine is neither red nor a dot!

I like it a lot after trying many 'red dots' with diminished effects due to a mild astigmatism.
