Need some help please....
I'm currently running LMT fixed iron sights and would like to add an optic that will give me absolute co-witness.
I'm concerned the ring on the fixed rear sight may cause things to get too "busy" if I went with a 65moa ring/dot Eotech. My knowledge of this subject is limited but I'm thinking a single dot is the way to go?

Now the questions:
1. Which product/model (Aimpoint, Eotech 552.D1, etc)
2. What moa for <200yrds
3. Who has them in stock

Here's a pic of my AR that may help get some answers...and thanks, John.

I have those sights and the rear really limits your use of a red dot (I had a holosight on it) and you are right it was busy.

A flip up rear BUIS is my preference when using a holosight with the 65 MOA circle.

That shorty is begging for an Eotech. ;)

An absolute co-witness unnecessarily slows down an otherwise quick RDS. However, if that's what you want, it's your setup to make less efficient.

Keep it light and reliable...

Aimpoint H-1 Micro in a lower 1/3 cowitness mount (pick your favorite). Dot is approx 3MOA.

The Shooting Edge, One Shot, CQB Services are all Aimpoint Dealers.

+2 on the t1/h1. You can't beat it on a sbr! The whole point is small and light- something the eotech and m3/m4 are not (compared to micro).

The 3-4 moa dot is plenty good for 200 or less. This aint a precision rifle!

Thanks the for the input and help!
I originally wanted to shoot irons only but now getting the itch to try a reddot (they look sooo trick!)
Like I said, my knowledge of these things are limited so I guess I need to do some more research and maybe change some stuff. Or just stick with the irons...
