Red Dot Accuracy

55gr winchester whitebox .223 - cheapest stuff I could find - 5 shots at 20-25 yards

never really shot for accuracy before but I can say I am very pleased with this. same settings at 50 yards grouped 1.5" higher

Not bad at all, minus the flyer.

Thanks guys - I'm happy considering I only made 2 adjustments to my red dot and that is the group I shot after 15 rounds - the dot originally was right and low about 3.5" each direction, so I made an uneducated guess as to how many turns it needed and it was real close, so I did a few more clicks and that's the target above

The tasco red dot works well - I have one on my SR22, it is a large red dot though - the housing is more than double the bushnell trs-25 I just bought. I can shoot very accurately with the tasco on my sr22, have tried it from 10-175 feet and had no issues hitting small swingers.

I probably would not put it on an ar though, the vortex sparc might be a better option considering the warranty and risers/etc that come with the package.

My son thought it shot great and loved it, he says to says thanks again Danimal and I have to admit, I am not one for expensive set ups like this, but this thing is pretty wicked. That sight is fantastic, Bushnell hit the nail on the head with this one.

Oh no! Over the years I have enjoyed you talking about what a waste of money this kind of gear was! I am marking the calendar on this one!

Honestly though, they are very well built!
