Is there one? want to do the harris load for my .303. can`t find any red dot.

You could try 700-X or Trail Boss powder to get about the same velocity as Red Dot.
Cast bullets are recommended.....
Google these powders for any cartridge, & you should be able to find more info.

I assume you mean the "one size fits all" 13.0 grs of Red Dot load?
You can substitute the same amount of any powder that's just a bit slower than Red Dot, and there are many, since Red Dot is close to the fastest powder available (regardless of which "Burn Rate" table you use and there are many).
In addition to what has already been suggested, I'd try Unique, Green Dot, Bullseye, Clays or Titegroup.

Alliant Promo is a direct, weight for weight substitute for Red Dot and is cheaper. Before the buying panic set in it was selling locally for about $90 for 8 pounds. It only comes in 8 pounds kegs, however, and unfortunately is probably just about as hard to find as Red Dot. If you can find it it works well in any application that calls for Red Dot.
