I'm looking to buy a ultra compact red dot that I can switch between my SKS and my AR-15. I'm looking for something in the 100$ range that mounts directly to the rails with no rings. I found the Hi-Lux Red Dot Sight 1 x 50, 3.5 MOA Dot Size, on the wolverine website. I wanted to know if anybody had any comments on that model or had a better choice that they could suggest.

I'm looking at either the Vortex SPARC or the Bushnell TRS-25.... both found at one shot tactical, I'm not sure which is better... I posted a question earlier somewhere else, but no one seems to have an opinion on them... maybe another member can comment?

I saw the Hi-Lux as well... but I haven't heard anything about them. I've also seen some from Marstar, made by NC Star, but again... have heard anything about them.... too bad you couldn't rent them to try them out, eh?

There is a TRS-25 for sale on the EE for I think $125, the Sparc is better but is $220 plus tax and shipping. NC Star sucks!

Yea I don't mind the 220 price tag for the SPARC, I was just wondering why I should spend 220 when the TRS25's a little bit cheaper

Thanks

Vortex strikefire for 169$+tax and shipping at DS Tactical. Plus if you give them your CGN name they give you a 10% off your order. Just bought one from them. It is an insane value for the money. Comes with a screw on/off 2x magnification (and so does the sparc) and your choice of mount (extra high to cowitness your ar sights or low for normal railed guns)

I have 2 rifles with a Bushnell TRS-25 on them and my AR has a Sparc , the Sparc is nicer but for the money the TRS-25 is a great little reddot.

Their website says $219 for it. Do you have to go into the store for the sale price?

EDIT: Was looking at the wrong one!

i got a no name from wanstalls for 80 dollars, it has a red dot and a green one. the green sometimes doesnt want to work but the red works just fine for me.
