Red dot for AR

Ok I have read the forum and still have no idea what to get for my ar. I figured I was going to get an Eotech but have heard about recalls etc so don't think I want t go there. So I put it to you good forum members if budget was not really an issue what would you get for a red dot sight?

i really want to try a holosun just too see if its any good. but yea Aimpoint makes a pretty great everything, pretty sure they invented the red dot.. I also like the Trijicon MRO it looks pretty nice.. hope that helps.
 
Recall or not, I've used Eotechs in the field and on the range..never had an issue. Still my go to RDS.

That said, as stated above, you can't go wrong with an Aimpoint - used an Aimpoint PRO for awhile and it was a very good sight..my daughter took it though for herself now that she has her own AR. If budget is an issue, I have a Holosun that has performed pretty well also.

It's likely gonna come down to price and personal opinion...can't go wrong with any of the above IMO.
 
Depends on your budget, but I've used Holosun and Vortex Sparc and they have both stood up to thousands of rounds and rough mistreatment. Both in the "affordable" category.
 
I returned my FDE Eotech EXPS and magnifier to Eotech, and got my self Aimpoint T2 and magnifier. Aimpoint is much lighter.
 
Thanks for the feedback. Looks like Aimpoint t2 is the way to go. Now the hard part, where the heck to find one. Not many dealers and nobody seems to have stock.
