Anyone have any idea which red dot that will fit on a Glock 19 gen 4 MOS?

It has to be ultra light and very low profile and can be used with a holster OWB and IWB.

Thanks

It should come with a multitude of adapter plates to use whatever your optic of choice is.

I would suggest the RMR I have tried quite a few of the available offerings Insight MRDS, Leupold Delta Point, Docter, RMR and Aimpoint micros. The RMR and Aimpoint Micros are far more durable the MRDS and Docter had issues relatively quickly about 2000 rounds before there were issues with flickering or just dying. The delta point lasted longer but its a bit larger profile wise and its actually structure isn't as durable as the RMR and T1. The RMR and T1 lasted the longest before developing issues I've had multiple RMRs make to 8k rounds without issue but that seems to be around where they give out. The T1 made it to around 10k before the rheostat had been beaten to death by ejecting brass to the point it would freely rotate under recoil causing it to turn off go to dim or too bright. The optic will eventually have some issues the violence of the slide movement will eventually cause issues but Trijicon, Leupold and Aimpoint all stood behind their products and replaced and repaired the optics for me.

You are either going to have to get an optic compatible holster or modify one with a heat gun and some dremmeling to make them work. Lots of the bigger holster makers in the US make optic compatible versions of their holsters like RCS, OTG, Bravo and others.

So I got an RMR, but I am a bit confused. Those of you who have one might be able to help.

Do they come with battery cover? I received the optic and there is no cover to protect and close the battery compartment. Is this normal? If it is, don't water will get to it?

The mount is the battery cover. Trijicon offers a mounting kit for the MOS which includes a gasket for waterproofing the unit.

Ahh I see. How about the plate mounts that come with Glock 19 Gen 4? It came with four plates made by Glock. Will this work exactly the same with the ones that by Trijicon?

It works but lacks the gasket. Also there are occasionally issues with Glock mounting screw lengths.

Ahh crap. I wish the store recommended me this. Now I have to order again and pay for shipping again.

Do you have the following in stock?
Seal plate RM63
Killflash ARD dual illuminated AC31015
Glock MOS mounting kit AC32064

So I got my RMR and mouted it using Trijicon sealing plate and Glock factory mount plate, and it seems the screws go in quite deep. Anyone else think and have actual experience of having your RMR comes off because you use Glock mounting plate?

Also, who find the Glock 19 gen 4 fixed sights too low to be co-witness with the RMR? Did you guys change the fixed sights to be used co-witness with RMR? If you did, which fixed sights?
