Red Dot for Kriss Vecter Gen 2

ive ran a Bushnell TRS-25 on many guns, including my Vector. Never had an issue with it. It worked and held zero on every rifle (5.56, .308 and 9mm) that ive put it on. Although, I got a great deal on the EE for this Trijicon RX30, so that's whats riding atop my Vector now....

I had a Holosun on an old Kel Tec sub2K. I should have kept it when I discarded the rifle at Vault Distribution (long story). Excellent sight, at any level of comparability. However, my new Sparc AR seems even more durable.

If you search the ee you may be able to find a hensoldt rsa for around $350. They are a fairly nice optic, much nicer than the holosun.

I must admit that I don't frequent the Optics EE forum that often but I haven't seen any RSA optics priced that low. Have you compared them side-by-side with the Holosun? I'll admit, I was originally one of the biggest skeptics of Holosun sights—I assumed that they were another crap knock-off sight (I think they should have gone with their own design rather than copying the Aimpoint Micro look). But in the year or so that I've owned two I've been quite impressed with them as a "pretty good for the price" sight. Of course, they're not the equivalent of an Aimpoint, but at less than half the price I think they're a pretty good deal. I still have Aimpoint and Trijicon sights on my "serious use" guns but on my "frig around" guns Holosun sights work great.

I must say, I am VERY impressed with Holosun, especially for the price. Mine have sat upon AR15's and Beretta 9mm carbines, bounce around in a plywood crate every day, get dropped on tables all day and have been there for tens of thousands of rounds. Battery life is excellent and they hold their zero.

It's the Kia Motors school of thought. Copy proven designs and build them cheaper. If they work decently and are priced significantly cheaper than the "real" item, people will buy them. Who doesn't want an Aimpoint at 1/4 of the cost.

Vortex Strike Fire II is available for around $260. I'm using one on my CZ858.
I have a Gen I that also came with a laser (useful indoors or at night).

Also using a Browning Buckmark Reflex ($65) on my shotgun and handgun.
Very nice reticle patterns.
