Red Dot for Scout Rifle

Give me some recommendations for a large red dot that I can co-witness with on a scout rifle?

#1 brand choice I'd go with is Vortex.

I have a Holosun 510 on my Franchi scout rifle.

Lines up really well with my cheek weld etc.

I tried a higher mounted optic to achieve co witness but it put my head position out of place.

You'd have to ditch the forward mount though, no? Pretty tight eye relief on these, I thought.

More than likely, the 3X offers a slightly more forgiving "eye box" (the zone where you can clearly see the full picture). The 5X version requires a more precise, rigid head position to maintain a full sight picture.

I had a 3x briefly on a scout rifle, it mounted a little to high for my tastes. Ended up just using an LPVO.
