Red Dot Mount: CZ 75 SPO1 Shadow/Shadowline

I have an SPO1 Shadowline and seriously considering a Red Dot without milling the slide. Bushnell Red Dots seems to be the cheapest in the market. But i have not seen drop-in mounts for Bushnells. Burris Fastfire is also reasonably priced. Meprolight offers a drop-in option with a fixed open sight upon removal of red dot. Sig Romeo also offers specific mount for its red dot. Fab Defense and UM Tactical offers universal mount but not thru the slide which makes it ineligible for the new Production Optic Division. Any suggestion?

The two most common mounts for a Shadow are the Springer Precision and the Henning. I started with a Springer and then switched to the Henning. The Henning fits very tight in the dovetail and stayed tight much better than the Springer plate. I would reconsider trying to go with the cheapest dot as slamming back and forth on the slide seems much harder on these dots than being on a steady mount on an open gun and as such they seem to have a much higher failure rate. You'll also find that window size is very important for ease of picking up the dot so look for a larger window and good warranty.

Thanks... I was also checking the Warranty details. Will definitely go with ones offering Lifetime Warranty.
