Red dot on a marlin 1895 sbl

Hey guys i have a marlin 1895 sbl on the way to me and i think i would like to install a red dot sight i have two optics available. I have a eotech EXPS3 OR a hollosun 403GL the hollosun might be the better option of the two due to its low mounting height.

Do you folks have any experience with either optics on a 45-70
 
Hi M4chef.

I have a Marlin SBL with an Eotech 512 on it. Works very well indeed. I tried to put a x3 magnifier on it as well but it made the gun very top heavy.
 
I have had a Trijicon reflex on mine for years,it is fast and accurate and takes allot of abuse. I carry this rifle more than any other one for work. Sight has never let me down.
