Red Dot or Scope

Hey
I am running a 590A1 20” with a TL tracker front and Hogue stock, factory ghost rings. It’s my go to gun for everything, woods hunting, dog walks; deer small game. Truck gun. Atv and camping trips.

My question is I want to change things up and try a different site, was thinking of buying a red dot but I do have a
1.5-5-20mm Vxiii in my safe that has been used it years bought in new about 20 years ago thought about using it too it’s small and sleek
Any comments or experiences good or bad would love to hear your thoughts.

I am planning on buying a red dot for my 20" 590A1.

I don't think a scope would be necessary, as you usually "point" a shotgun (with relative precision), and not necessarily aim it like a rifle. Just my 2 cents.

Red dot, they’re fun on shotguns and easy to remove when you want to go back to irons.

I've tried a few different set ups on my SG's but find a good bead sight works the best in most scenarios......for me at least.
