I am helping a friend source equipment to be sent and used by a tactical team in Ukraine and looking for feedback on models/manufactures that are combat capable. I never really considered or researched this angle before, I always have considered durability and quality but not to the extent of will it hold up in real combat situation where lives are on the line.

So far I have been looking at a few Aimpoint and Buris models, again they need quality, durability as well as immediate availability so it needs to be something that is in stock somewhere and not a special order or backordered item.

Thanks for any advice/recommendations in advance.

I have done some searches but was hoping to get real feedback rather than trying to sift through potentially biased reviews

The tactical team in Ukraine should talk to the Ukr army units who are supplied by NATO in all major aspects, incl. red dots, and go from there.

Eotech. Aimpoint. Meprolight. Trijicon.

SIG's higher end offerings are pretty decent too.

If magnification is an option then there are plenty of fixed and variable options.

Personally I would go with Aimpoint T2.
