Red Dot Scope for big game, recommend me one

As the title says looking for a red dot scope for bear hunting over bait. Never owned a red dot so I have no experience with them. Will be mounted on a short barrel 308.

I have a Micro H-1 and have used it for both wild turkey hunting on my shotgun (fabulous) and on my deer rifle for the "big woods". Nothing is faster to get on target. Aimpoint are worth the $$ and I would literally have one had pretty much every rifle I own if I could.
