Hi, hope for some guidance here.
I want to mount red dot sights on (all) my handguns (at least all my pistols), I shoot much better and enjoy it more with these little sights. My Ruger Mark IV Target is just getting one, this is easy, it's mounted on the (Tandemkross) rail. Bit more challenging is my Girsan MC28. Best, and probably only way to mount it, is by replacing the rear sight. Any input how I can do this? Is there a mounting plate available? Girsan MC 28 and S&W M&P have the identical v-grove for the rear sight... If not, how complicated is it to get a sight mounted on the slide?

I am getting into red dot sights on my pistols so I have some knowledge but I am not an expert.

One way is with a mount that has 2 main parts. 1 part replaces the rear sight by going into
the dovetail. The other part of the mount attaches to the part in the dovetail and is shaped
to exactly fit on the slide. Then the actual red dot gets mounted to that by supplied screws.

The other way is to have the rear sight removed and have that part of the slide milled to
accept a base to which a red dot gets attached.

Go to youtube and/google for info on mounting a red dot to a slide.
