I'm not sure if this gun belongs in "Hunting and Sporting Arms" or not.

I believe my father in law shot a few moose and coyotes with it in a bygone age. He told me he had an unregistered 303 rifle he didn't want around and would I please take it. It was collecting dust in the tack room and he just didn't want it around.

I call it a "Red Green Commemorative". I particularly like the custom V rear sight that some clever gunsmith manufactured on it.

It is a real tack driver. I put a tack in the corner of a target and drive it into the wood with its butt stock.

I would point and laugh... if I didn't know that in my fathers gun locker is his fathers .303 "farm" gun, that looks quite similar. Goes to show you that you don't need an expensive 1/10000 MOA gun to get the job done.

cool. You could try finding some original furniture for it or building your own.

Regardless of its condition, I bet it still put food on the table and fed the family or kept the predators away from the livestock.
