Indoors I find red very quick to acquire the front sight. I also find the red makes a smaller more defined dot and leaves the top perimeter of the front blade visually sharper which at least feels more precise especially for elevation at 25 yards. The green is definitely brighter but not better for me indoors anyway. I'm looking forward to some outdoor range time this year to see if my preference changes. Also... sorry to piggyback on but can anyone point me to a vendor for the fiber optic rods? I have Warren Tacticals on one of my guns, and a few switches between colors will leave me with none. I'm looking for red & green in 1mm/0.040" diameter. Thx in advance for any help.

Since I am in Vancouver, Reliable guns have them in stock, I got my green fibre optic from Italian and my red ones from Murray Gardner ( I know he ships to other provinces).
