Hey guys/girls.
I've been perusing the Red Star Mountain line of scopes online... who bill themselves as high quality copies of the original scopes used in many milsurps.

I've read one article I have found talking about the quality of them, but I was wondering if anyone had any practical experience. I was considering them as an alternative to trying to hunt down an original military scope.
One person did tell me that the scopes used for the enfield bottom out at a zero of 300 yards... On articles I've read about these original scopes, could that be corrected to create a lower bottom zero?
Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks.
