So long story kinda..... way back a few years I ended up with a redding benchrest comp seating die. Now on the box its marked 222 rem which some one marked the last 2 over with a 3 and wrote AI underneath. The box number is 55109 which is for a 222 rem.

Is there any way to actually tell what cartridge this die is actually for? I looked for anything on the die body itself but cant find anything. I want to sell it as I will never use it but pretty tough when I don't know exactly what it is. The die is in nice shape and would be better with some one who is going to use it.

Thoughts??

In order for the benchrest seating die to work properly the die chamber must be shaped like the case and hold the case and bullet in perfect alignment. Meaning the die chamber is calibre specific so you would need to see how the cases fit in the die chamber.
