Hello all, I am looking for some info on a redding body die. I have just purchased a lee collet die for my .30-06 and have been having poor results setting back just the shoulder a hair after every couple firings with my standard rcbs FL die. Was thinking the redding body die may be just the ticket. If so any idea where I may find one in Canada. Seems everywhere is sold out including across the state line

Try P&D in Edmonton. They have some body dies in stock. Not sure if they have 30-06, in there yesterday and saw them on the shelf.

I recently bought a Hornady Headspace gauge that attaches to your dial caliper, I suggest you pick one of these up as you can see the progress from screwing your RCBS FL down in increments. Using this gauge I was able to go exactly .001 thou less than a once fired case from my rifle with great repetition. I am using a Hornady FL die set and don't see why it would work any differently. If not, PandD should stock it, that is also where I bougth the headspace gauge,

"...may be just the ticket..." For what? Sounds like you're getting way over complicated. Your FL dies, when set up properly, will do everything you need to do. In any case, Redding and RCBS kit is virtually identical. They used to be part of the same company too.
