Redding Boss opinions

So I was comparing the Redding Boss ( not the Big Boss) press to my old Lyman Turret press and there is quite the difference in size of the frame, ram etc. I was wondering how the Redding holds up for heavy work like sizing big brass and reforming duties.

My old Lyman is a tank and if the Redding does half as well over the long haul I'll be satisfied. So if anyone out there has used and abused one over the long haul I be glad to hear your reviews.

I got a Redding Boss and it can handle anything. Make sure it’s mounted on a solid bench and it can handle anything.

Good to hear. It is a lot smaller than the lyman so I was wondering .

What's wrong with your Lyman?

It is worn to the point where it binds a bit if there is any pressure on the ram from sizing or seating.

Redding makes excellent presses. If you want to replace a turret press, check out the Redding T-7.
I run two of them and they are by far the best press I've ever owned.
