redding bushings?

Are all redding bushings the same outside dimensions? For example would a bushing from a 6mm die work in a 308 die ?

Yes. The only thing that changes is the ID. Dimensionally the rest is the same.

I do a little swapping around with bushings. My .338 Edge is loaded on a .300 RUM die. 7-300 and 6.5-300 Win are on a .300 Win die. An appropriate bushing will squeeze the suckage right of s .243 and make it into an awesome 22. 270 Weatherby does the .257. .308 can do 7-08. Is that the sort of thing you’re thinking about? It works better going down than up. Some seater stem switching can make the competition seater pull some double duty.

What im looking at is using a bushing for 30 cal in a 6.5 grendel die. Im going to have to get the die opened up in the bushing shelf area to .332 though. I was also thinking about the 7mm08 308 die and 22br in a 6br die.

Yeah, thats why it works better going down in size than up. My .300 RUM die is opened up to do the Edge.
