Redding Dies

They make great dies and are top notch to deal with. They don't take credit cards but I have had them send me stuff like bushings, buttons etc, before I even mailed them the cheque for payment. How many companies today show their clients that kind of trust. They are also top notch if you break soemthing and need a replacement. Have never paid for a replacement part, even when I told them the break was all my fault.

I have all the other makes and no complaints on them but Redding is top quality and the service is spectacular. The only ones with close to as good service is Hornady. If you want odd Wilcat dies that need to be custom made Hornady is a very good choice.

Redding always seem to have better finishes and smoother interiors on the sizeing dies than RCBS and are nicer to use because of that. The Competition seaters kick butt.
When it comes to sizeing straight cases, I don't really see where Redding is one bit better though. On average for dies bought in the last few years I'd have to say my RCBS dies have made straighter cases. In times past RCBS has cranked out some of the purest crap I've ever seen. Maybe my luck has just changed.
Redding has a great tech line, and they have cut me custom dies at no charge to fix what was really the gunmaker's fault. So has RCBS. A custom FL die, cut to your own fired cases is a true joy to use. They just barely nudge the body, and graze the neck. They almost don't need lube.

Redding seaters also have the built in crimper. It's a bit of a pain to set up properly and I finally gave up and will use a crimp die now if I want to crimp, but the function is there to use if you have the patience. I had some that crimped fine, but then had a whack that collapsed the shoulder from improper seating depth before I realized it even. Tried and tried to reset the depth and crimp to my liking but time is just too precious a commodity so I said screw it finally.
.

Exactly why I buy an RCBS Competition seating die for all rifle calibers. The sliding seating collar and window setup works great epecially with fussy calibers like 22H and 204R.

So who here is a stocking dealer? On the website it lists WS Sports but they're the sh*ts to deal with!

Regards,

We are a stocking dealer/distributor. We mostly carry the even higher end Type S atch Bushing dies, but do stock the 3 die (Deluxe) sets in the more popular calibers.
Not a problem to order whatever you want though
