Anyone here use a Redding T7? I am thinking about looking for one to setup for reloading .223 and 9mm . Has anyone set one up so you could dump the powder in the 9mm or .223 while its still in the press?

Also what size flash hole does the 9mm use and can I use my Sinclair decapping die for it even though its crimped IVI brass? Also does it use the same size primer as the .223?

Thanks

Yes, there are adaptors to allow a thrower to be screwed into the press. My Redding BR 30 thrower is mounted on my T7. I use it for most rifle calibers.

Your decapper should do both 223 and 9mm. But why not de-cap with the sizer? Saves step.

Also does it use the same size primer as the .223? The Small Rifle and Small Pistol primers are the same size, but are different hardness. You can try to use Small Rifle in both calibers, but test 100 9mm rounds first, to make sure they go bang. They would probably work in a hammer gun, but not a striker fired.

For those two calibers I would go with a progressive, I bought a t7 with the same idea, but ended up buying a progressive down the road.
I love my t7 for all my other rifle calibers though.
