Both are top quality dies, I seriously doubt there will be any difference. The biggest variable will be in your press.

I use both but will usually buy Forster just because of the lower cost. This topic came up a while ago and a few guys seemed to like Forster over Redding believing they produced better reloads but as Rick stated, your press may be the bigger factor.

I have one of each. I can't say there is a real difference between them. Both produce excellent round with precise control and next to no runout. You can't go wrong with either, so you can feel comfortable with whichever meets your price/availability requirements.

i got a older lee single stage.what would be a good single stage press to get.

If there is lateral movement in the ram when it is extended, which there is to some degree in most presses, this will make concentricity issues more prevalent. There is only so much tolerance built into the shell holder to allow for the casing to straighten itself when moving up inside the dies.
Checking to see how much the ram runs off center during extension is fairly simple if you have a dial indicator with a mag base.

We have something in the works that should be available in the next few weeks that will literally blow the doors off any other press on the market for precision loading AND it will easily accommodate every caliber from 25 ACP to 50 BMG

Check our website in about 3 weeks or so.
We do not have a firm price yet but hope to keep it in the $500.00 range
