Redfield revolution scope

I mounted a 3-9x40 on a Weatherby Vanguard 338 win mag in Talley rings. It's a compact scope (for a 3-9) with good eye relief and nice finish. Really don't like the windage and elevation adjustment, cheap plastic with poor feel. I do like the low profile turret covers and the 90 degree zoom ring.

This rifle does recoil hard though and the last trip to the range the scope no longer holds zero. So I guess I will be finding out how good the warranty is.

yeah that was another thing I did not like was how light the clicks felt when adjusting.Someone told me when they sent there cheaper leupold back for warranty they made a complaint about the mushy adjustments and they put the next step up adjustments in it for free.I made the same complaint about my redfield when I sent it back 2 weeks ago so we will see if they do it for mine as well.

Love mine to death, it's crystal clear. That being said it's on a .270, so I doubt that qualifies as "big bore" by any stretch of the mind. Best of luck to you though, I'm sure It'll hold fine.

Mounted a 4X12X40 Redfield Accu on my friend Savage 111 300 mag over a 20 MOA Piccinaty rail and after a 100 rounds, the zero is still pefect, it will take a lot of punishement, they are very good... JP.

Waiting for mine to come back from warranty.Took it the first time to sight it in on my 30-06 and every time I shot it would drop 2 inches and a inch to the right without any adjustments.I thought it could be me flinching so I had 2 others try it and exact same thing.I am sure with my luck I just got a dud scope but hopefully will have it back soon.

Not just your luck. I liked the glass but my would not hold zero. I would adjust to point of impact and it would sting back to where it was in 3 shots. The replacement didn't impress so I exchanged it for a Bushnell.

If the Redfield is Leupolds answer to the 3200 they really didn't understand the question.

I have the 4x12x40 on my 270 - holds its zero, moves precisely on paper when I click it, and I love the brightness. Great value, IMO. So far the deer aren't complaining...
