Has anyone tried these new scopes yet? Thinking of the accu-range 4-12x40 for my "new" 6.5x55. All the specs look good, just not sure about the reticle, looks a little busy compared to my burris

Just got one. 2-7. It's not mounted yet. Well it feels good in the hand and the variable ring moves nice. Easy adjust windage and elevation. Nice finish. Looking trough the scope its not a VX-3, but still plenty clear. Just the edges of the view have a little distortion. But hey for under 215 shipped I like it. I am putting it on my 375 H&H to wring it out this week.

Redfield

I just picked up a 2-7 4-Plex at Lebarons this morning for $161.94....along with 2 lbs of Varget and 1 lb of H322....they actually had it in stock. I know I dissed these guys a lot in the past, but today they made my day....:D

Just mounted the 2x7x33..

I just picked up the 2x7x33 this morning and mounted it to a .22WMR. It is the cutest little scope you ever did see. For $185 you can't go wrong. I am picking up the 3x9x50mm for surplus. The prices on the Redfield won't last forever!

The prices on these scopes will stay low for a long time.
Mounted a 3-9x40 on my new tikka stainless composite 6.5 swede and headed out to the range today.Very bright optics, lots of eye relief, and easy to turn finger adjustments are plusses.
Easy to scratch finish is a minus.
Once I got the rifle bore sited with the bolt out I fired a shot from a load that had never been tried in any of my rifles. Did the calculating and adjusted accordingly 6up 6 1/2 L.
Fired a group still 2low but 2r.
Readjusted carefully,second group 0 up 1/2L
Adjusted 1/2 r, last group 0 up 1/4 r.
So the dials may not be long range target precise but they work and the groups move with every click of the dials. Did not tap scope in between groups or bang it around at all.
Here is the load info 123 Lapua scenars, 45gr H4350 3.05 oal wlr primers norma brass.
Posting pics is a pain but the 100yd groups were #1 .65, #2 .46, #3 .41
PERSONAL OPINION: For the price very good scope, bbrighter than bushy 3200 and nikon prostaff, Warranty beats both as well, if I ever need another hunting scope I would definitely favor the redfield as like a lot of people I cannot afford Zeiss leupold, etc...
Yes it is Korth.

If only they'd be foolish enough to make a tactical scope that is reasonably priced. I have to wonder why Leupold's company would make a Redfield scope to complete with their VXI's and Riflemans? Not that I'm complaining.

The only thing "Redfield" is the name that was bought by Leupold a few years a ago. The rifle scope are made in Beaverton Oregon by Leupold and have the same warranty (a huge plus). This scope was built to compete with the better off shore products and a similar or lower price. The finish on the body is not as durable as original Leupold and the technology is similar to older Leupold products. We have all these scopes in stock. The binos and spotters are made in China. Phil.

The Redfields have 1/4 inch click adjustments while the Riflemans and VX-1's have friction adjustments. The click adjustments feel a little chinzy to me but that is pretty minor. More than likely you will set them once and forget about it. For the money I like the glass.
