Yesterday night i was at the range to sight-in my new SR-22 installed a 4X12X40 Ballistic plex from Redfield, it was late almost night and the clarity was very good a 200.00 scope that good and not made in China have to be promote... JP.
I wouldn't say no to a good deal on a Redfield.
Have had a few oldies and never a problem.
A 2x7x33 on my Ruger with amazing clear glass for an old scope.
I don't mind the looks of the new ones either.
Have slim lines like the big brother.
This article explains the Redfield/Leupold connection. It also mentiones that only the rifle scopes are made by Leupold, the Redfield spotting scopes and bino's and rangefinders are produced overseas and brought in.
I don't believe Redfield promotes the Leupold cross ties so people aren't confused and thinking they are getting a leupold for bargain prices. They are 2 seperate and unconnected factories

I've always been a Redfield fan...
I have 20+ yrs on an old 3-9x40 Denver on a .270 and it just keeps performing...as well as many others,I've yet to have a poor one.
Nice to know they live on.
I've got a brand new Redfield Revolution 3-9x scope and I love it. Was extremely easy to zero it in and not a hiccup from it when out shooting in the piss pouring rain.
