Redfield scopes

The revenge scopes will be made offshore. The next shipments of 20102 produced Revolutions are going up in price by about $100.00 a unit.

I have a 2-7 Revolution mounted on a ruger 77 270 and for the price, it has been the best valued peice of hunting gear I have bought in the past 10 years. Very repeatable, holds zero. The recticle is a bity heavy but I am very satisfied with it. It is the only non Leupold or NF scope I have bought lately and again based on the price, i was not one bit disapointed. Buy one!

I have the same scope with the Accurange reticle on my Benelli MR-1. Works great.

you do know it is actually a Leupold product right? that's the only reason I bought one...

I didn't know about the other line being introduced but I did hear about the cost going up. Hopefully the offshore model is at least as nice as the revolution.

They will be a lot larger in size, with fast focus eye pieces almost as large as the objective bell.

You bet.
The very first gun my Dad gave me had a Redfield tracker 2-7 on it and it was another great peice of glass for the price, I have not had a bad experience with a Redfield product, old or new, yet.

One of the local retailers informed me they were planning on stopping production of the revolutions after their new Revenge scopes come into full distribution. I'm not sure how true that is (there's nothing on their website about it), but I picked up a revolution anyways. The new Revenge scopes have a built in optical range finder system of some sort so I can only imagine how much that will jack up the price.

Actually, according to the Redfield website, Revenge is much cheaper than the Revolution....

Cheaper? Really? If that's the case I may have to pick one up just because. I just received my new revolution and am quite impressed with it so far. It will be going out to the range on Sunday, but I have to buy a new set of rings first. The old steel Weaver's I have right now sit a little too low.

From their website:
Revolution 3-9x40mm, 4-plex, MSRP = $249.99
Revenge 3-9x42, Accuranger Reticle, MSRP = $179.99

That'll be a steal as long as this optical ranging system isn't garbage. I haven't had, or heard, a complaint about any redfield scope so I'm guessing it should be pretty good.

I've been shooting a .30-06 with a redfield revolution, and haven't had issues after some hunting, rocking about on an ATV, and over 200 rounds.

I think I'd buy another.
