Looking at picking up a couple redfield 2-7x33 scopes.

They will be going on a BLR 308 and a Rem 7600 35 Whelen carbine.

$239 plus tax for the 4 plex.

Thoughts?

For the money check out the new Legends from Bushnell.

Paralax adjustable on the side, and very impressive quality for the same kind of money.

Basically they have replaced the 3200 series, and they are a hell of a scope for the money.

The adjustments on the Redfields are mushy, and I am not really that impressed by them, but the 2-7 I have is small and light.

I should also mention there is a $50 Mail In Rebate on the new Legends.

The 3-9 x 40 was $229 and after the MIR it will only be $179 which is the same if not cheaper than the Redfield.

I am pretty sure their prices went up since last time I looked.

You won't be disappointed with any of the new Redfield scopes, I have a 3x9x40 accu-range on my Marlin XS7 308 win and a 3x9x40 4-plex on my Winchester model 70, awesome scopes with great light gathering ability. I would buy another one. Another scope worth looking into are the Vortex, good quality at a good price.
