Redfield Warranty?

I've got an old Redfield that seems to have yellowing glass. Last I checked Redfield was a Leupold brand, just wondering if the same Leupold style warranty that covered the later Redfields also covers the old guys or is he best just sent off to the boneyard?

We are only equipped to repair the Redfield Revolution and Renegade optics (start date of when Leupold purchased the company).

Trace Optics will be able to help you with any older Redfield scopes.

Just figured it was worth an ask. I've got a Leupold 3.5-10 kicking around I'd rather toss on there anyways.

I just got my older Redfield 6 x 18 returned to me today from Korth with a note saying it couldn't be repaired..............after them telling me in July to send it in for warranty. Not impressed! It has a serial # on it so could have been dated by that.
I wonder if the office staff ever talk to the technical staff?

As mentioned via PM, our apologies for the mis-information. We certainly try to not waste anyone's time. In this case, we screwed up. We have sent a swag package out to you for your troubles.

Apology accepted. We all screw up from time to time. It is most gratifying to see a business that understands and cares about customer service; so many of them now a days don't give a crap. Thank you.
