I picked up a new Redfield scope for a good price. Went to zero it in and it seems that the windage dial does not click. It seems to move fine, but I dont know how far I'm moving it without the clicks. I've just been kind of guessing. Does this mean there is something wrong with the scope's ability to hold zero? My concern is that if it's just an issue with convenience, I'll let it go for now as I don't think I'll have time to send it away for warranty, get it serviced, zeroed again and practice before deer season. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Don't they have small cogs on the outside dial with a finger that slips into the notches?
Is the center screw tight on the rotating knob?
Photo of said problematic area?

I called Korth group. They told me to send it to them and they'd sort it out. Apparently it should be a quick turnaround. I hope so, because I want to get this dialed in, find out what ammo I should be using, and make sure I'm 100% confident for deer season. It's coming sooner than you think!
