Redi-Mod

They both perform similar tasks in different ways.

Biggest complaint I hear about the mag couplers is being able to fit them in mag pouches, and/or the loss of space in the pouches (holds 2 instead of 3 now).

That's what I notice in the class. I had some mags in couplers, and while making mag changes easy, there was no easy way to store them on me since I only had an ATS-M4 chest rig and a FASTmag on my belt.

I'm looking forward to trying one of these out for sure.

I suppose for a Canadian home defence carbine in a safe, the fastest way to access your ammo would be to leave a mag in the redi-mod. Just pull out the rifle and the mag goes with it.
