Reduce recoil on Tikka T3 338WM

am I the only one who finds tikkas kick much harder than there weight suggests? and yes I own tikkas and they all wear aftermarket pads. helps a lot. but even with the pad recoil still feels a lot more than a x-bolt in the same caliber and the weight is the same. I own x bolts also. I will not buy another tikka in anything over 270 or 308. no magnums for sure. I also found that savages wit or without a limbsaver beat the hell out of my middle finger which is behind the trigger guard. browning in the same caliber seems to kick less and never touched my middlefinger. recoil is more than weight of the gun, stock design and fit are a big plus

A do it yourself limbsaver pad will completely change your perception of the recoil, but bear in mind that it will make the stock longer. I've had a couple on Tupperware Tikkas and the difference is day and night. For me the added length is a good thing.

X2 Limbsaver with be the most cost effective way to greatly reduce felt recoil. Been there, done that.
