Reducing Muzzle Flash On 5.56 SBR

Hello all - I am looking for some advice & guidance on where to find data to reload for my Ruger American Ranch 5.56 with a 1 in 8" twist barrel. I'm not having much luck using google, or finding data on what powders could help reduce the muzzle flash. The bulk ammo from Federal/American Eagle is pretty impressive but it gets old fast.

Was planning on using up my stash of 50-55 bullets and IMR4198 from a long gone 222 700 Varmint.
From what I have found IMR & H4198, H335, Reloader 15 (for heavier bullets up to 80 gr), Winchester 748, Varget, & BL-C(2) work well in the AR platform but there's little data or info regarding muzzle flash.

Any of the newer manuals carrying this type of info or anyone have experience with similar SBRs?

I can't help with the powder, but a good pronged flash hider will do wonders. If your rifle has the 16" factory barrel you should be fine though. I used a bunch of IMR4198/55gr fmj in my 16.5" Ruger GSR and noticed no daytime flash even with a large single baffle brake. I don't recall any muzzle flash in the evening but never shot it in low light. AE is notorious for excess flash so try your handloads, they may be just fine.
 
Thanks for the feedback on the AE ammo. Maybe it's just the lot I picked up but the rifle's been nicknamed the Dragon - she's got at least 8" flame out the front, clearly visible in the daylight. The Dragon has so-so accuracy with it but my brother's rifle REALLY likes it. I'm sure as it's bulk ammo it's not premium components, & good handloads will always be better.

Didn't want to have to mount a muzzle device but we'll have to see.

I put an inexpensive linear compensator on mine from TNA as firing it from inside the hut of my range was getting a bit obnoxious. Outside it’s not bad at all and the linear compensator has helped both with the concussion and the muzzle flash. I got muzzle flash with most factory ammo. I’ll be reloading with Benchmark powder first to see how that goes.
 
Lol, ever fired a PLR16? Thing is insane, dump a mag through one of those and the "dragon" will resemble a fireant afterwards.
 
This is just an observation without scientific evidence to back it up but I have observed that the faster powders produce less muzzle flash, ie 4198 might be the ticket.
