Redundant handguns

I went on a sort of buying spree since the handgun freeze announcement and I'm considering selling some of my guns that are of the same caliber and feel very similar (to me):

.44 mag:
Ruger Redhawk 7.5", S&W Model 29 6.5"

.357 mag:
Colt Python 6", S&W Model 686 8"

9mm:
Glock 17, Walther PDP

For each of these calibers, would you sell of one of the two, and if so, which one? I don't have any sentimental attachment to any of these.

Edit: I realize now that I might have given the impression of having only these. Nah, I also have a Beretta 92 LTT, FN 509 Compact, P320, P226, Shadow 2, M&P40, Colt DE, Ruger Vaquero 357, Desert Eagle 50AE, S&W 460. I think I've too many 9mm... I will only ever use the P320 and Shadow 2 for IPSC. For the rest, I wish I got .40 or 10mm semi-autos instead... Might as well make those 10 rounds count. Like I'd trade the Glock 17 for a Glock 20, I just can't find one anywhere right now.

I would not sell any, but if I were to I would probably get rid of the one 44 and one 357. Aftermarket support, condition, value and intrensic value would be determining factors. I would keep both 9mm's .

I’d keep the Glock 17 because it’s the original Glock.
I’d keep the stainless Smith too and have a 6” barrel installed. Sell the 8” barrel.
 
For the .357s, if you want a showpiece, keep the Python. If you want a durable shooter, keep the 686 (actually sell *that* 686 and get one with a reasonable barrel length. I didn't know they made that model with an 8" barrel).

For the .44s, keep the Ruger if you want the more robust gun, keep the S&W if you want the better feeling gun.

Wouldn't hurt to keep both 9mms.
 
You definitely need a 1911 in .45, but good luck finding a worthy keeper now. Mucho denaro if you do.
 
I’d also consider the condition of the ones you’re willing to part with and future parts availability.

Ha I didn't consider a barrel swap. Do you think it would be extremely difficult to find one if and after the freeze gets implemented?

Yeah... I love them both but I'm quite fond of the Model 29. Not because of that movie, but because it's such a beautiful piece and it's my only blued handgun. Tough choices
 
Thank you all for the replies. About a 1911 in .45, I got a Colt Government classic last year before all this craziness, glad I did too! My only .45 right now... I mused getting a HK mk 23 at some point, but at $3000+ now I think I'll pass =\

Forget selling! Buy mags, parts & ammo... Get into reloading. Got a 22 or 2? When this crap goes through, things are going to dry up faster than they are right now. Trudy & his ministry of morons will probably close all avenues of sourcing anything related to handguns. Shops are going to eat it hard after this wave of panic buying is over & the new laws (O.I.C.'s) kick in. I wouldn't put it past these clowns to make reloading illegal or even more heavily regulated in the future. And I know everyone knows but: It has nothing to with public safety, only complete confiscation of previously taxed private property. Your gonna have to think outside the box if my predictions become reality...
