Hello all I would like to find a price on A IHC built M1-Garand will all IHC parts Trigger, OP rod, Sights, Bolt, Hammer and a LMR barrel. All were refinished using Manganese phosphating. It has A new Boyds stock too. What would be a good price for this rifle? Iam thinking in the $1200-$1400 range? any thoughts? It would also come with the original stock.

IMHO if the rifle has been "reparkerized" then most of the collector value has just disappeared! Top it off with a "civi" replacement stock, and all you really have is just a nice looking shooter. I've purchase "several" all original IHC Garand over the past 2 years, in good condition for under $700 each. (with origianl wood) But hey, maybe you can still get your asking price... who knows these days. ;)

Some pics with the old stock.

Do you have any pictures with the new stock on ?
When I see the old stock it seems you did the right thing and refinished the gun...
I am convinced, that refinishing a rifle like this poor shaped Garand, will not depreciate its value.
You sure know, that most if not all Garands have replacement parts like stocks, barrels, Op. rods and so on...
In my humble opinion, a beautiful restored rifle is much better/valuable than an "Old Beater".

No the new stock is in the mail. I have b4 pics of the gun too they both have there up's and downs but with the new stock it will look beautiful I am shure. And snice its still IHC parts I dont think it hurt the value at all

I would not have refinished that gun personally. I would have just steel wooled off the surface rust under the rear sight and kept it original, that looks like about an 80% finish - still collectible.

But hey, it's your rifle!

Only M1's I refinish with new park are generally in much worse shape than that metal set was. Also, I would tend to replace the stock with an original used milsurp stock, not a new Boyds. The Boyds stocks are too fat everywhere anyhow.
