Refinishing a a Lee-enfield (Just finished!)

Here we go , all done. I'm very happy with the results, except for the mismatched color. I think that's why someone had stained and applied varnish to the fore-stock, to try to match it. My No. 5 is obviously an Ishy refurb at some point, and most markings have been removed. It does have the 4 numeric digits of the serial number matching on the bolt and receiver, but no letter. Is there any other way to identify if this is a BSA or ROF?

Nice job on the wood!

I do sometimes use stained BLO to help get the parts shades closer together.

Re. serial number - weird, I can't recall No5's having no letter before the numbers.
