refinishing???

I have a Norinco frame for a 1911 all other Rinco parts are gone


is there anyway to remove the "exported by Norinco" and "made in china"

before I go and do the Darkearth Guncoat? like a bodyPaste or filler then sand it smooth?

I'd PM Gunnar at Armco about that. He's worked on more Norcs than you can shake a stick at. Bet he's 'stealthed' a few of 'em, too...

I took mine off with a diamond stone, but if you are going to paint I don't see why a filler wouldn't work...
