What is the difference between a reflex sight and a ''tube like'' red dot?
If its the same then why people keep buying the heavy red dot tube?
There must be a reason! I know the red dots are more shock resistant, but is this the only difference?
I am modding a rugger 10/22. My goal is to give it a little tacticool marksman look but my priority is low weight and low price! Its the kind of gun you don't care walking long distance(weight) with and throwing it in a dirty canoe(price).
A red dot option for me was the vortex strikefire with high mount for ar15 or any other reflex sight.Thanks for any information related to this thread.
