Was reading a recent post about somebody who would like to learn the basics of lathe/milling training regarding gunsmithing. I didn't want to hijack his thread so I stared this one. Unfortunately this
gentlemen is in BC so a little far from Ontario.
I would like to offer my shop to anybody who would like to learn these things close to Ottawa. I've been working as a machinist for the last 10 years and been working
on my own firearms since I owned my own lathe and milling. >I am not a licensed gunsmith< But I do know how to operate the equipment.
This is the thread I was talking about: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1626274-Lathe-Training-Instruction
So if anybody would like to learn how to operate a lathe and a milling machine, shoot me a pm and we can try to workout something.
I also have a CNC plasma table. We can make targets as long as it fits inside 48"x48"
