Regarding the requirement to be a club member

Regarding "the book". I hope your book is not requiring you to leave any personal information. These log books setup improperly can become an easy "shopping list" for criminals.

We sign date, time and club member number only.
 
Recognised Lower Mainland Gun Club membership for $30.00

Here's an excerpt from an email I received from Silvercore Training who conduct PAL/RPAL courses, Handgun Trainining etc. They are a genuine company I have taken courses from who also train armoured car gaurds and are well respected in the firearms community.

"We are also pleased to announce that we are recognized as an approved gun club through the Federal Firearms Centre, for the purposes of obtaining an LTATT. We offer membership for as low as $15 for our students (past / current), and the membership is $30 for non-students. If you have yet to apply for your ATT, contact us right away, as we can provide you with the information to obtain an all encompassing ATT, and all information you will need regarding the now mandatory proof of belonging to a club or range. If you require further information on anything please do not hesitate in contacting us as we would be more then happy to help".
