Regarding YETI...

I say screw yeti, let them be a lesson to others. You are either pro gun, or you are not.

Make your choice.

And to be frank that goes for all Canadian businesses too.

I am watching like a hawk which vendors have taken action against C-71, and making notes who did it on their own accord, who did it after community pressure and who did nothing.

Every dollar i have for the next 40 years will spent accordingly.

Anyone here against the NRA is advocating for gun control, plain and simple....if the US 2A falters, so will we.

F**k Yeti. If I can't fit $600 worth of beer in a $600 cooler, why would I buy it?
Ice for 7 days? By Jesus, get a fridge. If you are hauling a $600 cooler out for 'backcountry camping', you ain't camping anymore, you're glamping and you can afford to pack in a genset and fridge as well. LOL

I'm as conservative as anyone. The NRA isn't interested in the American population. There is no give and take. It's like the 2nd Amendment is the ONLY part of the Constitution.
They need to have their wings clipped and start feeling the only thing that can hurt them...financial sanctions from companies.
What part of National RIFLE Association don't you get? They are a pro FIREARM organization. Since when is it their job to take on defence of the entire Constitution?
You claim you're "...as conservative as anyone..." but expecting the NRA spend time defending every amendment in the Constitution sounds pretty socialist to me. And BTW, the thing that will hurt them most is their member quitting and judging by their membership numbers that isn't happening.

1. This is Canadian Gun Nutz, not American Gun Nutz... who cares about the NRA, they certainly don't care about us.
They can't get involved internationally. It is specifically written into their constitution.
2. NRA is much more interested in money than in the rights of (American) gun owners.
How do you stand up for the rights of gun owners without money to operate? Pixie dust doesn't buy ad space.
3. Drawing hard lines and threatening boycotts over things like this make us look like the fanatics that the political and social left tries to portray us as. Please don't play into their hands.
Sure, look how well compromise and trying to be cooperative has worked for Canadian gun owners. The NRA should be following our model.

Wow, an organization that uses corporate blackmail as a means of fundraising. That sounds very unAmerican and anti free speech. The NRA was founded to promote gun safety and responsible gun ownership so as to preserve shooting sports so idiots wouldn't cause reasons to have guns taken away. Now it's all about protecting gun sales and idiots making gun owners look bad. Shame on them for only being money grubbing crackpots.
You can't possibly be that naïve.

The NRA is stupid for turning on Yeti. The only bigger idiots are the people blowing up their $300 coolers to send a “message”. Yeti is awesome and not anti-gun/anti-second amendment/anti whatever the NRA is saying nowadays.

Wow. I missed a few pages since I was here. So, its bad for the NRA to raise as much money as they can to fight the gun grabbers but o.k. for Canadian orgs to ask for money. I am sure that any of the Canadian orgs would gladly accept a few million dollars in contributions. They would love to be as big and powerful as the NRA. They started their organizations to support a particular cause and would certainly like to maximize their financial base to better fight for their cause. Look up how much money the anti's raise and get government funding as well.

I also heard the latest interviews with Dana from the NRA when she was asked about the official opinion regarding bump stocks. Her answer was that the NRA does not support banning anything. However, she pointed out there was legislation already in place and it was not the NRA's position to ask lawmakers to enforce those laws.

And Yetti still will not get my business.
